 I have had the privilege of being mentored by Dipal in my role as a Clinical Pharmacist Independent Prescriber, and I cannot speak highly enough of the impact he has had on my professional development. Dipal is not only a highly skilled clinical pharmacist but also an exceptional mentor who has guided me through the complexities of life as a clinical pharmacist in primary care.

Under Dipal's mentorship, I have gained a deep understanding of what the role of a primary care clinical pharmacist entails, and how to work up the ladder. Dipal’s real-world insights have been invaluable to my growth as well as the regular feedback and support.

I am incredibly grateful to have Dipal as a mentor, and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking guidance in the field of clinical pharmacy. His primary care expertise, coupled with his genuine passion for teaching makes him an outstanding mentor and a true asset to the profession.

 I was referred to Dipal by a colleague as I needed someone to help me develop my clinical knowledge during my independent prescribing course. Dipal is really easy to talk to and was engaging throughout the session. Not only did he present the information required in an easy-to-understand manner but he also focused on consultation skills and communication skills while working with me to improve my clinical knowledge. Furthermore, where he was unable to help me he did refer me to other professionals who could help me further my development and also help me to complete my required hours for the independent prescribing course. 

 " Dipal and I worked together on regaining my confidence and took steps to help reintegrate myself into the profession again after a previous set back. He was very supportive and always available, he was very patient with me especially at the beginning when my confidence was at an all-time low. Together we, planned out a programme to gain confidence step-by-step. He was there for any queries or advice regarding work issues and Pharmacy issues in general. Using the help gained I went from jobless to now being in my 2nd year diploma at a hospital trust whilst also doing the IP, and I’m finally starting to see progress. Even though the rebuilding job is nowhere near complete, I would not have gotten to this point now without Dipal’s help. He Taught me about the nuances of being a pharmacist and becoming a pharmacist ready for the real world and not just a pharmacist who looks good on paper; opened my eyes to the realities of the pharmacy world and not just how pharmacy is portrayed at university. Closely monitored my clinical and personal skills to ensure I became as well-rounded as possible so that I could reach my full potential as a pharmacist and other endeavours in life. 

 I would recommend Dipal's mentorship programs to other practices and for other pharmacists to learn from him by describing him as, knowledgeable, patient, experienced, down-to-earth, trustworthy, caring, passionate, hands-on, hard-working, determined, versatile, robust, and just an all-around nice guy. And in this world, the last description is perhaps the most lacking in society.  

" I first came across Dipal as a mentor while I was a trainee pharmacist. I found his logical and concise manor of explaining things really helpful while he also pushed me beyond my comfort zone, accelerating my learning and confidence.  Dipal has been working with us as a practice pharmacist since February 2023. As a pharmacist he has proven himself pivotal to our team, championing the achievement of local prescribing targets, drug monitoring and medicines management while also lending a hand in achieving QOF targets in the last financial year. One of the things I like about Dipal is his ability to take feedback on board thus moulding himself to our practice needs. His bedside manner with patients and his reliability as a versatile team player set him apart as a clinician. 

 " As a locum pharmacist, Dipal blended in well with the team and was both thorough in his work while receptive to feedback. He has a drive to continually develop and improve. With his help we achieved many PCN targets. We found him to be both professional and clinically competent.
